Sheehy Strategy Group (SSG) is pleased to announce its relocation to a larger office in Downtown Sacramento. The new space, located in the 11th and L Street Building near the California State Capitol, will enable SSG to better serve its client base.

Since its founding, SSG has established itself as a leader in Sacramento’s lobbying and government relations arena. The firm specializes in lobbying and procurement services across a wide range of industries in California. SSG is led by Principal and Founder Tom Sheehy, Procurement Partner Eric Mandell, and Principal Brena Sheehy. Together, they are committed to delivering successful public policy and regulatory outcomes while safeguarding their clients' reputations in the Capitol.

Tom Sheehy brings more than two decades of experience in senior roles in the State Legislature and Governor’s Office, including as chief deputy director of the California Department of Finance and principal consultant in both the California Senate and Assembly. Eric Mandell adds over 40 years of executive-level expertise in state government procurement, external affairs, and marketing. Brena Sheehy, now in her sixth year as a registered lobbyist, has more than 15 years of experience in the healthcare and insurance sectors, further enhancing the firm’s capabilities.

For the past six years, SSG has operated out of the historic Senator Hotel, leasing space from the California Manufacturers & Technology Association. During this time, the firm has delivered exceptional results for its clients, offering services that include legislative lobbying, issue management, and strategic procurement consulting to help businesses work effectively with the state.
